I can't get past the paywall but holy moly. This is a big deal. Given all the illogical methods accepted by this administration, it's only fair game to say asking for immunity is tantamount to admitting guilt and criminal behavior.
I think a lot of people think the "lib-rels" are just harping about Russia to be a pest, but as a registered independent who adopts no ideologies and guided by science and reason... I think we have some traitors in our White House, boys.
I think it's pretty standard to ask for immunity and it's probably what his lawyers recommended. This is an open-ended investigation and who knows where it will go.
In the same way that pleading the 5th is often a smart thing to do, asking for immunity does not mean he's guilty.
