Thanks to all who are trying this, and apologies to those who cannot connect - I've written the servers to deny new connections when the load average is too high.
The main use I see, is having a way not to carry my laptop when I travel. Which will prevent anyone from asking me to give access to my files. This would allow me to protect my privacy while traveling.
What features would you like to see added? I had been planning to delete the data from VMs which had not been used in the last 30 days, but I will reconsider this now.
Sadly, I'm late to the party & you've shut down access by the time I found your post here.
With regards to your question about use-cases, I've used Windows based web-VDI's in the past to run Chrome-based BTC trading bots & execute long-running operations where I wouldn't have otherwise been able to from home/office due to uptime constraints outside my control.
Also, I was unaware that it was even possible to deny new connections based on load average, until I saw you mention having done so. Sounds handy & I'll certainly be Googling to figure out how to do the same.
