So they didn't give a single quote or opinion from the Syrian government in the entire article?

I expected better from the BBC, of all sources.

There is an entire section "What does the Syrian government say?"
I just read the entire thing again and this is all I can find:

>A statement on Syrian state TV said "American aggression" had targeted a Syrian military base with "a number of missiles" but gave no further details.

> A statement on Syrian state TV said "American aggression" had targeted a Syrian military base with "a number of missiles" but gave no further details.
What good would a quote from them would do? This whole equivalence mentality in news is a big problem getting a quote from the Syrian government on this is like getting a quote from a UFO expert on an article about NASAs mars missions.
