Ledger (YC W17) needs Engineer #1 to power the next trillion dollar asset class

We are fixing a huge problem: insurance financing.

With $5 trillions of insurance capital worldwide, we believe there should be a way to invest in insurance risk just like credit. That’s why we are building a marketplace to securitize billions of dollars of insurance risk and become the standard exchange for this asset class.

We raised a significant seed round from leading investors following YC and relocated our office to Washington DC metro area (no remote).

Ledger needs a talented backend engineer to build our service architecture from scratch. As Engineer #1, you will design an API that will handle requests from our investing portal and insurance data research team, scale our databases/servers as we ingest new data, and much more.

DevOps skills are favored as we also need a strong pipeline for testing and deployment. 2 out of 3 founders are technical. Join our tight team and be our tech guru.
