Ask HN: How to sort a group of audio files to a master audio file by relevance?

Let's say I have a master audio file of a song (no music) by a person. I also have a group of audio files of the same song but by other persons. I want to sort these attempts by who got the song most closely to the master audio.

My preliminary research suggested applying acoustic fingerprint match using a tool like dejavu. But I still am not sure.
