Would be neat if HN allowed inspection of anonymized aggregated vote count per country and timestamp, so that the community can call out the bullshit if there are suspicious patterns.

2. Find a niche that that app isn't covering (like a localized version or other)
3. Make your app cover that niche
4. Wait until the popular app owners buy you out
