Ask HN: Is AMD Getting into Smart City Projects

A senior AMD India official has commented on a WhatsApp group that AMD is helping the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in developing the City of NOIDA as a smart city. I am asking this question because I find this surprising since AMD is into such projects to the best of my knowledge. The last time I checked PwC was consulting many Indian cities and municipalities on this topic.
