Ask HN: What APIs are good for financial data?

I've been scouring the net for a while and can't seem to find anything thats open source and free and good quality. Free isn't super important to me but I really just want something that has all the data and doesn't cost a ton of money.

I'd like to use the data to build open source financial analyst tools I need.
