What do you use to give technical presentations?
We introduced a lunch-n-learn in my team, and I often find myself bouncing between various presentation tools. I often demo code, and use graphs (e.g. for performance testing). I haven't really found a tool that suits me for this.
I've tried using reveal.js [1] and writing HTML slides, which is fine, but really slow. I've tried keynote, but it's slightly irritating and it annoys me that it doesn't have nice, plaintext files that I can easily store in a git repo (and use across platforms). I can't stand powerpoint so that's out (and I don't even have it on my mac). I have contemplated LaTeX, but haven't tried it for presentations (I've written many papers with it, however, so I don't imagine the learning curve will be that steep).
There will be loads of people on here who give technical presentations, so I ask you: what do you use and why?
