Ask HN: How do I get a 16 year old started with programming?

My girlfriend's sister just graduated Grade 10, and is confused about career choices. I'd like to give her an introduction to CS over the next two months. I've already impressed her with the skills and applications that CS brings along from ML to AI. I was personally going to start her off with App Inventor since she has no programming background whatsoever and has a smartphone. Any help?
