I preferred the original post which was flagged off the front page, since it doesn't editorialize this event into a feminist context. I don't think using words like "mansplaining" nonironically is going to increase the sympathy for this problem.

Still, an interesting high-profile event which demonstrates that a lot of people are frustrated with female contributors getting talked over.

I believe the strongest evidence that was not "bad manners as usual" is the reaction of the crowd. A genuine, spontaneous reaction of support to the "Let her speak". Obviously, the woman's description that everyone in the room was noticing the mansplaining was accurate.
