WordPress/Automattic transforming Jetpack Plugin into a Bloatware?

Just saw their recent announcement: https://jetpack.com/know/ most probably, they are going to introduce theme directory or something to promote and sell their premium themes in back-end of jetpack.

FYI, they already promotes automattic products/services in jetpack back-end, and bundling & diplomatically forces to keep unused js/css files (comes with jetpack modules) on server.

So, day by day WordPress company or automattic officially making this useful plugin into a bloatware?

What's your thoughts on this?
