I bought Halide when it was just released and I must say I'm impressed and have been enjoying it ever since. It has replaced Mattebox as my go-to ”serious photography camera app”. Deciding to release a paid camera app is a very ballsy move these days but it was definitely worthwhile from my perspective.
Now, about those app sizes... I just downloaded a 400-plus MByte Facebook update last week, and sometime today I'm expecting another one. What the hell is in there? Do these companies have no shame? Will it only become an issue for them when they bloat to such a size their app will no longer fit on the average user's available phone storage??
