Ask HN: Why don't more companies post their traffic data?

I recently set up some quick analytics so I could see where my traffic was coming from. I then figured I couldn't really think of any good reason not to just put it live for everyone to see.

At the moment, I'm just showing a visit counter, a map and a few pie charts of traffic sources (https://www.allforone.io/analytics).

Is there any reason why I shouldn't be doing this? Is it somehow a security risk?
