So Macroeconomics has a field of study on job destruction, but not on job creation as far as I know.

There are a lot of things to think about job creation, for instance value creation, marginal efficiency, etc, etc - but these are usually in the purview of individual businesses.

So, what is the state of knowledge on job creation?
