Ask HN: How to deal with false positives by Antivirus for my desktop app

I am a small time indie developer with three small desktop utility softwares. I sell those as sharewares through my site. I recently got a lot of emails from customers saying that my products are flagged by Antivirus as Viruses/Trojans. I reply to them that it is false positives. How do I stop these companies from destroying my daily bread ?
