FreeLancer.com desktop app forwarded my message to someone else

I was talking to my hired freelancer through their Windows desktop app, suddenly a different guy started answering. I asked him if he had changed his nickname, but he said no. Then I went to the browser version and it appears it automatically started a conversation with a totally different user which I had to interraction with before.
