Ask HN: Can you recommend a good S/MIME CA?

I've been using Comodo's 'free' S/MIME client certificates for a couple of years, but the process always feels like it's intentionally terrible to discourage use, they say it's only supposed to be for personal use, and of course Comodo have shown themselves to be slightly shitty in response to LetsEncrypt.

So, I've contacted one of the major CA's who have a "contact us for pricing" and the sales people indicated that they require a minimum purchase of 50, 3yr certs.

So I'm asking you HN: is there a better CA for S/MIME that is workable for small businesses?
