Ask HN: Spring for a mini-startup in 2017
I have experience in Node.js (quite a bit, adore it), python (flask, some django), .NET (MVC) and Java (mostly android not very familiar with Spring).
Yet I decided on Spring for a startup I'm doing with a friend (mostly because I wanted code safety, and the model layer with Node.js isn't that good). Most people nowadays use newer frameworks for a new project mostly to get better development speed, does Spring still have merit for smaller projects in 2017? If so what?
