Probably Google engineers are down voting whatever they see about it. :))
Because the discussions end up repetitive, unproductive, and boring.

(Flagged this thread for the same reasons. Sorry! But trust me, it's for the best.)

Because some things are so sacred they may not be discussed.

Unfortunately, I'm not kidding. The topic is very sensitive and talking about it at all leads to people in the extreme plying thought of people who identify as either left or right.

In my opinion, this polarisation needs to be discussed as it may be the cause of quite a number of the worlds political problems today. Twitter is the worst offender for this but if people are told what to think before they even see the facts then it will be pervasive in all places.

Because it seems to be a hot alt-right activist issue right now
Because it's overwhelming. How many damn articles do we need to see about this stupid memo? There's no conspiracy here, many of us are just tired of reading about this really dumb event. It's just a flame war, nothing of value is happening, every blogger is currently frothing at the mouth trying to get eyeballs on their ads.
Because they are bordering on propaganda. One was submitted by "supremesaboteur", which (to be fair) is at least an honest user name ...
