What the Rust Language Server Can Do (ncameron.org)

I'm very satisfied with the progress of rust tools and the direction its heading. Also it's not just rust, there are other languages/editors implementing Language Server Protocol so that we finally get a uniform implementation - http://langserver.org/#implementations-server

Though there are disadvantages to this approach too..
