[–] [dead] bugmenot 16y ago ↗ I lived for several years in the Netherlands and was delighted to learn that the Dutch word for squirrel, "eekhoorn" is pronounced, essentially, "acorn". I'm not aware of any fun-spoiling etymological connection, either.
