Nice!

Movies and TV series is just something there's always space for more.

Suits Apple, they normally position themselves in a manner that nobody needs to lose for them to win.

Apple, the company that can't even draw a gun (emoji), is going to compete in Hollywood? Anyways here's to hoping we end up with at least a few good shows out of all this competition.
Johnny-come-lately but with a big bank roll... Might work this time but I have doubts old Sony execs can pull off anything on par with GoT or HoC. We'll likely just get more warmed-over remakes of successful old TV shows from the 80's and 90's.
Hopefully, some of it is better than their cringe-inducing reality TV show "Planet of the Apps" wherein app makers are judged Shark Tank style by people who know absolutely nothing about technology. For the fortunately uninitiated, the hosts are Hollywood B-lister Jessica Alba, pop musician Will.i.am, snake oil saleswoman Gwyneth Paltrow, and VaynerMedia founder and CEO Gary Vaynerchuk. This garbage is all over iTunes and it's hurting the Apple brand.

Making something better than Planet of the Apps will not be very hard. It's sad though, at the beginning I thought they would be bringing in small developers and indies, but all apps that get reviewed have at least hundreds of thousands of investment already in.
I watched an episode b/c of Jessica Alba, fond memories of her in Dark Angel. Not quite sure what I was expecting but this was definitely not it.
