I would say funding literal nazis is included as part of Coinbase's prohibited activities: https://www.coinbase.com/legal/user_agreement#appendix-1:-pr...

One of the persons featured in a Rootbocks campaign is white nationalist leader Matthew Heimbach, known as the guy who attacked a girl at a Trump rally[1].

Rootbocks is run by NathanDamigo, a white nationalist who has previously engaged in violence[2] where he assaulted a woman at a rally. He is another leader of yet another white nationalist group Identity Evropa, one of the groups present in Charlottesville.

Nathan is unhappy at the moment due to payment processors cutting them off[3].

I've emailed Coinbase but have received the "It may take a few days for a response" auto respond.. Is there any better way to contact to Coinbase? They likely want to start preserving evidence regarding the successfully funded campaigns that brought the Nazis to Virginia.

@barmstrong is a co-founder there .. not sure if the @ notifies on HN though
I've been consistently seeing a pattern of white nationalists adopting blockchain technologies. The head of the Canadian nationalist party used to run his own Bitcoin firm [1], Gab with its happy alt-right green frog wants to do an ICO [2]. And now this!

I wonder if their de-facto underdog status lends itself to the decentralized operations that blockchain technology offers.
