Ask HN: Starting a Crypto Exchange. Should I Incorporate in US?

Before I talk to a lawyer, I'd like to discuss it with the HN community.

I'm starting a cryptocurrency exchange business and looking to incorporate in US, Delaware. Why Delaware? No particular reason. The plan was to use Stripe Atlas to avoid all the hassle, and Stripe incorporates you in Delaware state.

I've heard a lot companies do it in Switzerland, the cryptocurrency heaven, as they call it, but not entirely sure why.

Overall, I'm looking for directions and advices. The goal is to be able to operate both in US and in Europe.
