Ask HN: Charitable programming

I have a simple question that googling has not been able to answer for me. One of my talents is programming, and I'd like to use that talent to help other people. An example of something I was thinking of was redoing a website for a nonprofit that doesn't have the money to pay someone to do it. Something along those lines, however that itself wouldn't be that great because I don't really know web development. How would I find such an opportunity? or even if you know of a specific group I could help, that would be great. Thanks for any replies!
