Show HN: You.S.A – Go Stateside Virtually

Having recently relocated back home from the States, I needed to call US companies and friends but I didn't want to spend a fortune making those calls.

So, I threw together a way to appear to be in the States (VPN) and use Google Hangouts to call US numbers for free. I then added adblocking and compression for good measure to save expensive foreign mobile data. OpenVPN uses encryption out of the box so my web traffic is secured (at least) until it exits the VPN server.
