Ask HN: Best introduction to data science?
My team is in the situation where we have all of the tooling we need to be able to build the kind of reports and dashboards that we would like to have, but being developers and not stats people, we don't quite know if we're constantly committing cardinal sins that would be obvious to people working in the space. E.g. data reproducibility, common mistakes of interpretation of the data that might mislead teams counting on our judgment etc.
I'll admit that none of us have the bandwidth to become world class experts right this second, we just need enough pragmatic guidance to be dangerous in the short term, and we'll try to determine what else we need to learn as we go through this journey.
Books, Youtube videos, blog posts, MOOCs etc are all welcome.
Thank you in advance!
