Stress management should be taught in schools

It's my opinion that successful people carefully manage their stress levels so as to maximize their own output, whilst being able to shrug off stress and relax when they need or have downtime.

Unsuccessful people (most people) often perceive themselves to be 'stressed' constantly and have very little facility to control their own stress levels except through alcohol or drugs.

Example: I know quite a few people who are more or less chronically stressed and upset over their own inability to manage time and get things done, and would probably self-diagnose as stressed or depressed.

If this is a reasonable hypothesis, then perhaps we should try teaching kids how to manage their stress levels appropriately.

A LOT of things should be taught in schools - how to fill out a tax form, martial arts, yoga, come on people, how many times in your life have you thought 'They should have taught me this shit in school...'

How compound interest works, how fractional reserve banking works, the difference between borrowing from a bank and from a credit union...

Oh here's one - scams, cons and sales tricks so you don't learn by buying a lemon - over and over....
