What is the future of agriculture? Is it indoor farming (with Hydroponics, Aquaponics) or traditional farming with Robotic farm equipment?

Can indoor farms replace traditional farms, or is it just confined to terrace gardens?

Will traditional farming with Robotic farm equipment be able to meet the ever increasing demand for yield/hectare?
