Responsibilities

Build applications and services with a variety of languages including but not limited to Ruby and JavaScript

Work closely with our founding team consisting of our CTO, PM, and designer to define and build features, services, and APIs.

Own and manage backend & infrastructure that can serve hundreds of thousands of concurrent users

Qualifications

4+ years of experience developing and launching products into a production environment

4+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL

4+ years of experience with one or more programming language: Ruby, Python, Javascript, etc.

Expertise with Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS

Experience with and knowledge of the full web stack

Experience building and scaling consumer products

B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a service-oriented team
