Ask HN: What would be the best job position after a burnout

Currently I am in a high managerial role, but also in a software architect (whatever that means)/developer role. I think I am experiencing developers burn out. I am incompetent in the current role, and I am crippled by anxiety, depression, mood swings. I used to love technology but now I just stare at the ceiling and lay in bed when not at work. I need the work to support the family but I feel I am about to have a breakdown soon.

I have to work, but I don't know where would I fit. I am 41 and damaged mentally with this burn out or whatever this is. Any chance of getting a low stress job or am I too old and screwed?
