Ask HN: West coast companies that offer private offices?

The open office trend is really wearing me down. I feel like I'm in a schizophrenia simulator. Surrounded by a cacophony of voices that aren't mine, unable to silence them, only able to drown them out with something louder in my headphones.

Hell, the guy I buy car parts from at the junkyard has a workspace to call his own.

I don't want to work remotely because I genuinely buy into the strength of in-person collaboration, it just needs to be opt-in.

I've heard Microsoft is pretty generous here, and I know Palantir was offering pair offices back in 2012 - who else? It's perhaps the most compelling perk I can think of.
