Tell HN: MooTools Embodies Whats Wrong With Developers

--from demo.mootools.com-- Also, before asking for any help, do yourself and the developers a favor and try to first understand the code, read the mootorial, read the documentation and read Michelle's article. If none of this helps, please come ask us in the forums. --my point-- This is the guide mootools gives you for using their software. DONT ASK FOR HELP<READ AND UNDERSTAND. This concept, that everyone can read and understand is nonsense. A lot of times what is written is clear to the programmer, but not at all to the user. Coming to Mootools and seeing this is how they treat their community, it makes me feel like they are a bunch of 1337 junkies, sitting on their linux machines getting fat on chocolate bars and potato chips. Cool, you made software that experienced developers can use. I understand that finally at the end of reading the documentation and the mootorial and this random ladies article, that then I am allowed to ask a question based on their guidelines, but don't you think that is a little bit ridiculous? Can't you just add a beginners topic on your forum and tell newB's to go nuts?

I don't want to read people commenting that mootools offers help in the forums. Thats not my point. My point is, they are not very welcoming about it, and so I will not use their product. Developers, we are not the shit. We all know we set out to build one thing and ended up with another. Thus we should all understand that our conception of a program, is going to be different to every single person.
