simple/complex search engine concept

normally to search google you have to goto google.com then type in a search, but what if you could type in directly into the url address bar i.e:

lipfeed.com/%searchterm

for example:

lipfeed.com/music

or

lipfeed.com/art

that would be very quick and cut out the extra page loading time if you get the drift...
