While I can see the benefit of specific scores for specific activities to be quite useful, such as credit scores, HN karma rankings, drivers license points, I am very opposed about using the results of one type of activity to control access to a completely different type of activity. Especially when the question is access to privileges or rights controlled by the government, since interactions with the state is fundamentally involuntary.
