Ask HN: Who wants to learn about Search?

Hi,

I am a Search practitioner, who is interested in teaching a small group of 10-15 people online about Search. While I am not an expert in Information Retrieval, I’ve collected practical experience and lessons-learned by running several websites with full-text search on production and hopefully some of those insights would be useful to you.

If there is enough interest I will organize a webinar (discussion hopefully) covering beginner topics such as:

    - What is Search and what problem it is solving?
    - Search terminology - inverted index, term dictionary, posting list, etc.
    - First take on building an index
    - Tokenization
    - Precision and Recall
    - Scoring
