[ 3.0 ms ] story [ 15.8 ms ] threadIt's pretty easy to prove they do have a salary range though. Imagine the most qualified candidate you can possible imagine. Would you pay them 150 billion dollars a year? If the answer is no, we can be reasonably assured the upper limit to the salary range is below 150 billion dollars.
You run into this type of argument all of the time in philosophy when it comes time to draw a line. Just keep constructing thought experiments until you end up with a range that is somewhat meaningful
