I can’t judge if the claptrap he quotes the geniuses spouting is effective, but the author’s screed sounds like a classic American snake oil salesman pitch.
This article was extremely cringey, starting from the ridiculous assumption that "the world's best and brightest" are the most famous American billionaires, and through the flurry of shallow understandings about the philosophical ideas the author claimed to have studied.
This a long winded ad for a course. It never even approaches the title in question. And there is this:

Over the years, as I’ve studied all of the above entrepreneurs, I’ve also aggressively applied their teachings. Even if I didn’t understand what they were saying at first, I took their advice on faith.

If someone makes money follow their advice, eyes closed. Not really a sound advice.

I think the quickest way to learn about someone else to talk to them. We've moved so far away from really getting to know one another.
