Ask HN: Best bidirectional Android to desktop pipe?

I want to be able to easily send links and text back and forth from my phone to my desktop. The way I currently do this is (sigh) by saving it as a draft in gmail. This works... reasonably well, but feels wrong. I don't really want to sign in to a shared browser account on both. Any good solutions out there?
