Ask HN: What are top picks on PluralSight for software architects?

1 points by bastijn ↗ HN
At work we recently obtained full access to all Pluralsight content. The huge amount of courses make it that even skimming on tittle and few minutes course material are not sufficient to conclude on a list of useful courses to follow. As a software architect at an enterprise firm, what would be great courses to follow on software architecture?

Things I’m looking for:

- Generic architecture of large scale software systems

- how to deal with large legacy code bases and existing customers

- architecting APIs

- backwards compatibility (multi-year, >15y)

- testing legacy code bases (though I think “Working effectively with legacy code” by Michael C. Feathers is as good as it gets)

- dependency injection design principles

- security and privacy related

Things I’m not looking for:

- courses on language X (too specific, changes per problem, better ways to learn)

- Architecture for beginners; courses should highlight architecting for enterprise solutions.

Thanks!
