Show HN: Spread the Fox, a personal checklist to recruit users to Firefox

In a recent HN thread we discussed recent Firefox developments (e.g. Quantum release), and I mentioned my personal goal to recruit 5 of my family and friends to use Firefox. Reasons included speed, privacy, supporting a non-Google company, and more.

This weekend I created this "stupid simple" repo to act as a template for anyone who is interested. It simply explains what to do, why, and provides you a checklist to keep track of your progress when you successfully recruit people to Firefox (most likely from Chrome).

The repo is not impressive at all, of course, but I do see a growing need in this day and age where technology is having a greater impact on the lives of ordinary people, for us software developers to commit to small acts like this, whether its educating people about privacy, helping a handful of people set up encrypted email, etc. I look forward to more projects of this type, and hope you do too!

If anyone wants to contribute, it would be awesome to get an informational poster / infographic to be able to hand out to individuals. That should be targeted at people who don't necessarily have a technological background.
