Ask HN: Wealth inequalities: Has capitalism shown its limits?

J. Bezos is worth 100B$, and about 2,000 people are billionaires today.

Do you consider this as a normal situation, where even in developed countries, poverty is still non negligible (about 40M people, in the united states, which is 12% of the population)[1] ? The inequalities are still very high in the US, let alone developing countries.

Do you consider that capitalism is at the root of this problem? How could we solve this inequality?
