Tech immigrant worker here. I find it embarrasing that being an immigrant is taboo in the country of immigrants... you can do better America!

The rhetoric of the administration with respect to immigration might have rubbed you to the wrong way, but if you are considering moving back to your country due to it, note that there hasn't, so far, been any material change in any immigration policy for skilled workers.
