Yeah, and I don't get the "admits" part either. I wish HN would just ban these authors who needlessly polarize the issue.

Whatever excuse they present is invalid and just some dumb deflection to distract people from the fact that they just rootkited everyone's computer and got away with it.

If you want to make a system resilient just don't ship vulnerable ring -3 software.
