Zulip is still the gold standard for enterprise chat.

This feels like a corporate plug with extremely minimal engineering discussion, and which mostly just boasts platform features.

I wouldn't even say this really counts as significant industry news.

It's amazing how bad Skype for Business is, really. I suspect that if Microsoft didn't essentially give it away, it would never be the first choice for a chat platform.
