Correct me if I’m wrong but it sounds like what they’re actually testing is data transmission via HF antennas attached to power lines. The lines themselves are not transmitting data. Wireless ISPs certainly already exist. That technology isn’t necessarily new. Although I’m not sure what the significance of using the ‘millimeter wave spectrum’ is. Maybe someone has more insight?
