Ask HN: Glasses vs. Contacts

After 20 years of wearing contacts, I bought some prescription glasses online the other day for $58. I need a backup anyway. Some days I just don't feel like putting my finger in my eye. But wow, what a difference! My sense of depth perception is off. Everything looks smaller and the edges (where the glass end) looks like someone did a selective gaussian blur there!

However, to phrase this in true HN style … which is better for programming … Glasses or Contacts? Perhaps glasses help me to "focus" more and be less distracted?
