Fox News has zero problems lying. My case - typical in America - is that of a single broadband provider (Comcast). The alternative is turtle slow DSL from AT&T. I have zero recourse against Comcast's actions, from censorship to price gouging, from preferential fast/slow lanes to them selling my internet history.
The ISPs have carved out geographies and lobbied against Civic internet efforts. They've fucked you into a corner, and you can't do shit. While their buddies in Fox feed you lies to keep you in your corner
Anytime an article/blog post/whatever begins by characterizing NN as an "Obama...power-grab", I immediately know that the remainder of the piece is ignorant at best.
Much like oxygen, NN has been taken for granted to the point that the general public can't even imagine a world without it.
