It doesn't, it just highlights how politics makes a mockery out of "justice" - if you are still naive enough to believe such a thing exists.
Although it is interesting to see that Ecuador doesn't seem to be bowing to pressure from certain other large countries - we don't know how much pressure there is, but good for them in any case!
